Founded by Dr. Lamin Jaiteh and Dr. Fatoumatta Jitteh, Solace Foundation is a non-profit entity established under the streamlined single-window registration process at the Attorney General’s office in the Republic of The Gambia. Both founders are dedicated medical professionals with a profound commitment to enhancing the healthcare landscape for cancer patients in The Gambia.
Organization's Focus
TRAINING
• Hire, train and retain qualified health and administrative professionals. • There will be customized training modules and programs to build and strengthen staff capacity.
PARTNERSHIPS
• We promote strategic partnerships to create a self-sustaining treatment center. • Our partnership will be principally with NGOs, medical professionals, and relevant solution providers such as Architects Without Frontiers (AWF).
SUPPORT
• Patient counseling, education on treatment plans, options, medication, nutrition, and home care will be an integral part of our care.
TREATMENT
• Efficient and effective treatment that optimize overall patient survival rates. • All cancer treatments will be managed according to international best practices.
